OUR STORY
Kafe Louverture, the esteemed "Home of the Haitian Patties," is a testament to the pursuit of passion, culture, and culinary excellence. Founded by the dynamic husband and wife team, Joanne Saget and Anthony Cunningham, our Kafe is celebrated for serving the most exquisite Haitian patties on the entire East Coast. Every dish we create is a labor of love, prepared daily with unwavering authenticity.
Joanne Saget's journey in the United States began at the tender age of seven, settling with her parents and beloved grandmother in the heart of Brooklyn, New York. It was here that "Grandmere Dia" introduced young Joanne to the intricate art of crafting the perfect patty dough, a cherished tradition in their family.
From Fashion to Flavor
After two successful decades in the fashion industry, with Joanne as a technical designer for Ralph Lauren and Anthony as a fashion developer and brand manager, the couple decided to pivot their careers. Their mission? Sharing culture through the freshest and finest ingredients.
